Privacy Policy — Hatchu – Turbo Edition

Egorip develops Hatchu – Turbo Edition (“Hatchu Turbo”, “the app”). This policy explains how information is handled when you care for your Hatchu, use its camera interactions, play games, view advertisements or make purchases.
Camera and facial interactions
With your permission, Hatchu Turbo uses the front camera to detect expressions and movements, such as smiling, blinking, opening your mouth and tilting your head, so Turbo can react.
Camera images and facial movement signals are processed on your device. The app does not record or save camera images or videos, upload them to us or advertisers, or use them to identify you. Facial movement signals are used temporarily during interaction.
You can revoke camera permission through Android settings. Features that depend on the camera will then be unavailable.
The app may download Google’s MediaPipe facial detection model when first needed. This download sends a normal internet request to Google’s hosting service, including your IP address; it does not upload camera images or facial signals.
Information stored on your device
The app stores information needed to remember your progress, including:
- Your Hatchu’s chosen name, age, care status and appearance.
- Coins, racing progress, unlocked rewards and purchased virtual items.
- Garage customisation and app preferences.
- Advertisement timing, reward limits and cached Remove Ads purchase status.
You do not need to create a Hatchu account. Please avoid entering personal or sensitive information as your Hatchu’s name.
Android backup or device transfer services may copy saved app data according to your device settings.
Advertisements
Hatchu Turbo uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial and optional rewarded advertisements.
Google’s advertising SDK collects and shares information such as IP addresses, device or account identifiers, advertising interactions and diagnostic information. IP addresses may be used to estimate approximate location. This information supports advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention.
The app does not request precise device location.
The current app requests child-directed advertising treatment, under-age-of-consent treatment and a maximum general-audience ad content rating. These settings restrict advertising practices; they do not eliminate all technical data collection.
Where applicable, the app presents advertising privacy choices. You can revisit these through the app’s Privacy choices option when available. Your Android device also provides advertising privacy controls.
Purchasing Remove Ads disables automatic interstitial advertisements and banners. Optional rewarded advertisements remain available if you choose to watch them.
Purchases
In-app payments are handled by Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details.
The app receives purchase information, including the product identifier, purchase token, purchase status and verification information, to verify purchases, enable Remove Ads and restore previously purchased access.
Google Play retains transaction information under its own policies. Clearing app data does not cancel a purchase or delete Google Play’s transaction records.
Third-party services
The app uses Google services for advertising, advertising consent, purchases and downloading its facial detection model. These services may process information on servers outside your country.

Retention and deletion
Saved game data remains on your device until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. Clearing storage removes local progress and preferences. Android backup copies may remain according to your backup settings and may restore data after reinstallation.
We do not maintain a server database of your camera images, facial signals or pet progress.
Google retains information it processes according to its own policies. You can use Google’s privacy controls or contact Google about that information.
If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond and retain it only as needed to resolve your request or meet applicable legal obligations.
Children’s privacy
The app does not ask children to provide real names, contact details or camera recordings. Facial interactions remain on the device, and the app requests the restricted advertising settings described above.
Parents and guardians can control camera permissions, purchases and device privacy settings. Please contact us with any concerns about a child’s information.
Security and your choices
We use Android’s app storage protections and secure connections provided by our service providers. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
You can manage camera permissions, clear local app data, adjust Android backup and advertising settings, and use available advertising consent controls.
You may contact us to ask about your information or exercise applicable privacy rights. We can only access or act on information we hold; requests concerning Google’s records should also be directed to Google.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its information practices change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised date.
